Holy crap! I cannot believe that. It's been three years since Clay's debut CD came out in stores. It seems like it was just yesterday that I was at the release party, so excited for the CD, waiting
to have it in my hands. Watching him perform on Leno, hearing "Invisible" for the first time on the radio. All the various appearances that week and on, the 2x platinum, whatever. I miss that
excitement, that total "I'm a Clay fangirl and I don't give a care what you think" mentality. Sure, I was a complete moron, blissfully unaware of how ANNOYING I was. But that was when I truly loved
Clay (not stalkerly, never was never will be for anyone), taped every single appearance he did, would only talk about him. Even if I was stupid, it was fun. To me, Clay was a lot different back
then, I miss old Clay. Appropriately, or ironically, E! aired his SNL episode tonight. I think that SNL was quintesential Clay to me. When I think of why I love Clay, I think of SNL. The geeky but
cute nerd with a great heart, the nice guy, the likeable guy with one of the most amazing voices I've heard. He looked great, he sounded great, he was the most "Clay Aiken" Clay Aiken, if that
makes any sense. I guess I just miss the old days. But really, while AI2 introduced Clay to America, it was MOAM that really made the fandom. It's so fun to look back to see how the fans have
changed, Clay has changed, I have changed. I can't believe I just rambled on that long about MOAM, so, um, YAY for MOAM! Good times, 10/14/03.It's also been a year since we moved in/got my wisdom
teeth pulled. Fun stuff, huh?Um...The Colbert Report was so excellent this week. The only video I have right now is one of the best Word's I've ever seen: The Word: Safety, but there was so much
goodness. We learned that Jane Fonda is a whore who likes to kiss married men. That Stephen is so happy to be his own wife. That Stephen wishes to channel Raven and wear tranny heels. And well, that's
all I've got picture wise. But I think that the runner-up in the Green Screen Challenge was pretty cool too. Especially the whole lightsaber match. Fanboy Stephen must've been all too giddy to have
George Lucas in the studio. That was so hilarious. And the gay gay gay gay gayness of Thursday, but again, no caps. Am I an effing geek or what? I guess I just sit inside the house too long.Oh,
another thing-EFFING TIGERS kthnx. Who would've thought that they'd be going to the World Series (actually no nvmd knowing them they'll choke tomorrow and let Oakland win the last 4 games and go
on)? And speaking of, ok, today I had the TV on all day, from the start of the Tigers game to the end of the Mets game.I mean, really? Haha, a lefty that throws righty. The tongue of concentration,
something that my dad & I tend to do. Such a Mets geek.Today was Canada day, sort of. We learned about it in class (sadly, I was the only person who knew that Canada had a prime minister, his
name, his party, as well as when and how he took over. That's pathetic.), and then tonight was Canadian TV. I found out recently that CBC, which I get, shows This Hour Has 22 Minutes, the original
satire news show (I thought it was on CTV or The Comedy Channel which we don't get), so I watched that, as well as Royal Canadian Air Farce Incredibly funny! Canadian stuff rules. Oh, and throw in
some Degrassi and it was super cool. If only I had some Jos Louis to eat while watching. My mom came home finally, so that's good. But now I'm worried about Freddy, I think he's going senile. He
feels that the living room is now the litter box and is just acting weird & bad. He better stop that soon, because my parents will put him down, and I cannot go through that experience again,
it was awful, almost 4 years ago. If he is getting senile & old, I hope he goes naturally, like George did. He's MY cat, he basically only comes to me, so it's like...NO :(! Ugh. I say the
phrase "ugh" too often.Good news is that the first issue of The Galaxy came out! And um, I ended up having 5 stories in it, that's pretty cool I guess. Although the typos did sort of make me a sad
panda. So, YAY for newspaper! And I rambled on WAY too long, my apologies (apologizing for nothing, a Canadian tradition! Too good, seeing as how I do the same thing.). So um, if you read that,
you're pretty cool. Just think, I could've rambled on about more TV shows, school, the Toledo Hospital, and probably other random crap that came to my head!
